PV
Solar systems are offered in two
configurations:
1)
Static
– All PV panels fixed and
positioned toward the most
appropriate direction associated
with the sun’s path (To maximize
the effectiveness of the energy
conversion)
2)
Tracking
– All PV panels automatically track the sun’s path, to
increase the number of hours that
the panels are perpendicular to the
sun in its path. The tracking is
offered in single axis (East\West)
or two axes (East\West +
South\North).
A
typical Solar energy systems
consists of the following
components:
1)
Mechanical
Structure
2)
PV
panels
3)
DC
to AC inverters
4)
Communication
system for inspection and control
of system’s performance
5)
Electrical
wirings, consoles and safety
apparatuses (manual\automatic
mechanisms)
6)
Infrastructure
cabling to connect the system to
the grid.
